Diy Refugium Without A Sump???

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody can help me out with this little project. I have no clue what to do. I borrowed a little diagram here and made some adjustments to it to be more detailed. Please feel free to add to the diagram and and also list what I would need and what steps I should take.

This will be for my 65 G tank with no sump. I'm planning on having the refugium above my tank as so many people here recommended.

What I have to work with is:

10 Gallon tank
15 Watt Florescent lighting
1 50 watt heater
1 maxi jet 400

What else do I need?

Upgrade the light for the refugium, 15 watt for macro algae is not enough. look on e-bay for hang on the back refugiums and maybe can save you some work, but if you already have the materials go right ahead.

I dont think you need the heater unless what you have in the display tank isn't enough for your new water volume.
