have a 14 gallon oceanic biocube, have the stock pump which is i believ 150 Gph i also just added a Koralia 1 which is 400 Gph i plan on having soft corals in the tank as well as a fish or 2 and some invertibrates, my LFS told me that it would be to much flow is this true as i have read some forums and they say there's no such thing as too much flow

everyones thoughts?

You don't have too much flow. I have over 1600 gph running in my 29 gallon tank. The tank is also soft coral only.

For the most part you can't have too much flow in terms of water quality, etc. But you obviously don't want your corals or fish 'blown away' either. I would err to the side of having more flow and try to direct it against a wall or LR to help disperse it. My $.02 worth.
