I have a 150g reef. I have all soft corals. I am not sure if I will do any hard corals. I like the movement of the softies.

I do a 15% water change every other week with RO/DI water mixed in is Reef Crystals mix...

Test your calcium. If it is low then you can use a two part calcium additive. Calcium reactors are usually used for SPS with high calcium demands.

No you definitly do not need a calcium reactor...

Even if your calcium is low I woudl recommend dosing with 2 part if your calcium/alk were being depleted.

I used Aqua C two part before with good result. But I have a 180g and got tired of dosing everyday, so I got a ca reactor.
