Hi,
I have my first tank set up, an RSM 34 gallon. Its been going about 6 weeks and I would like to start with some zoas. I have a few questions before I get them.

1 - ammonia and nitrites are 0. Nitrate is 5 - 20. When it get to 20 I do a 20% water change to bring it down. Can I get the zoas if my nitrates aren't under control yet?

2 - I have read some about keeping lps, sps and adding Ca with the brs two part system. I would like to start with zoas and later get some lps and/or sps. Should I start this measuring / dosing now? Is there any benefit to the zoas?

Is there anything else I should know before I get them? Any information is welcome!

1- No, you shouldn't.

2 - Yes, start to get used to your system and make sure parameters are stable, first.
Yes, there are benefits to the zoas.

Do a search.
There are so many threads about water chemistry and other subjects...
