Well since I have this large asm g3 skimmer in a total water volume of about 90g(dt tank 75g and sump 15g),i was wondering do I really need to run activated carbon with a big skimmer like that. Livestock is in my signature.

Paramas are-
Salinity-1.025
Ph-8.2
Nitrate-0
Phos- .1
Calcium- 520
Alk-9

I do vodka dose so im thinking that this is another reason I won't have to run carbon as well because its has made my water clearer. Also my brs reactor clogs to a trickle a few days after I run carbon. Any help or ideas folks. Kinda wanna depend on the fact that having a large skimmer like I do to do most of the filering. I already feel it is oversized for m system so why not let it do all the work.

Carbon will remove things the other 2 cannot, like discolor( yellowing) and chemicals, including toxins released by corals living so close to each opther.

One of the aspects I forgot about activated carbon, I just changed it out and instead of using two cups I used just one hopefully my reactor wont keep clogging. Or does the clogging mean I need to change it out until it doesnt clog before the week is done?
