Do mini maxis move much?

I was wondering what peoples experience of the mini maxi carpet nems, i believe over there you may call them maxi mini's.
I've read up on them, so know they are fairly striaght forward to keep, won't host clowns and are best avoided if you have small fish. I think i have the perfect tank but the only place i have on the rock work, which i think is perfect, is surrounded by corals. So my question really is how much are these likely to move? The ones i've seen at the local fish shop have seemed to stay where they were put. I know they have the ability to move if needed but i'd prefer it if they didn't wander around the tank for obvious resons.

Thanks

When I got mine I placed it in the sand bed so it wouldn't sting my corals. It moved about 4inches from where I placed it and it never moved again. Once they find a place they like, they really dont move enless the environment changes. Although, in the beginning if it doesn't like where you placed it, it will move. It's all personal prefference to the anemone, so you cant do anything about it.

About the same experience - moved about 4 inches from one rock to another that was in an area of less flow. Been there ever since

My reddish maxi-mini that is in my lagoon seems to wander about 0.5-1" everyday. The blue-green maxi-mini in my BTA tier stays put after is was blasted by a few baby GBTA when added to the system.

Well i guess we'll see. Picked one up this morning and have put it in a nice spot, above a slight hole in the rockworks and with moderate light and flow. It stayed in the same place in the shop, and thats very similar conditions to where i have put it, so fingers crossed .

So far so good. I'll try and get pics for the weekend. Its not a super special colour one but it has a nice mix of green and pink.

I have 14 & 2 have moved a bit. All except one attached to rockwork within 15 minutes. I may have a different answer next week when they're all moved to my 12gal nano cube specifically for them. ;)

IME, they do not move much at all once settled. I currently have one turned upside down on its rock for the past 3 days in hopes of getting it to budge of the LR; no luck yet whatsoever.

Tried 9 on a piece of live rock and only 2 remained. They were bunching close together to get at a better angle for the light and 1 fine day, only 2 remained. The 7 are all around the tank and are still looking for a better spot. I was trying to get them to bunch up like a clump of florida ricordeas.
