Do silversides come in all sizes?

I may have a second attempt at owning an aneomone but I want to wait until my algae is under control.

All you other guys seem when yo upost that anemones much more prefer them over cut up shrimp.

Since my calcium is now correct I am now starting to see purple coraline! So I think I can buy another anemone within 2 months or so.

Certain anemones have certain preferences. I have noted that my female H. crispa much prefers whole fish meats, like silversides, which keeps her in optimal condition. That may not necessarily be optimal for other species, so you'll have to experiment. As far as the original question goes, yes, the packages usually contain fish in all sizes.

You should never feed them whole, however. The anemone shouldn't get much more than a piece the size of the eraser of a pencil.

That means the entire fish, not just certain parts--like "whole grain," it doesn't mean you get singular grains. Rather, you get parts of the whole. Then again, I suppose I worded that a bit confusingly.

I actually must have skipped over that part of your first post, just trying to avoid a future "my anemone keeps throwing up silversides" thread :D

not sure why you think this is a sign for the addition of an anemone.......

i usually rip the the silversides into pieces smaller than the mouth of the anemone for easy ingestion.

My RBTA disliked shrimp. It ate WHOLE silversides for years. He was the healthiest of all the nems I ever had. Sold him back to the pet shop when I got rid of my tank.
