Do you feed green star polyps?

Do you feed green star polyps or just let it gets their nutrients from the lights? If you do feed it, what kind do you use?

I see some tanks at the lfs that have really long green neon colors tentacles and I wish to have those gsp.

NOt necessary to feed. Be careful, they are like a weed and will overtake most other soft corals - zoos, xenia, mushrooms.

Keep them isolated on a rock, they will reach out to another rock.

Many people put them in and later wish they had not due to their spreading.

I never feed them and they grow like crazy. After they have overgrown something, I usually peel them off and super glue them to another rock grow on.

Mine get fed when I put cyclopeez in my tank. But I don't feed them on purpose. They sure do grow fast without food, I can't imagine what they would do if fed regularly.
