Do you think Pink Skunks are aggressive?

I personally would never mix pairs of clowns, just feel that it will lead to bad things down the road -- mainly when one of the pairs starts spawning.

As for getting along with other fish, my pair of pink skunks don't bother my other fish ( potter's angel and a golden lawnmower blenny ) at all. Now, they won't back down if my angel is being a snot, but they don't start anything.

I have a pair of percs and a yound pair of pink skunks in the main display. The percs spawn regularly. I'm waiting to see what happens when the skunks mature. So far, all is well. The skunks stay on their side, and the percs, on the other. People I talked to online pretty much said percs and skunks would be the most mellow choices to mix in a tank, so I went ahead and tried it. YMMV.

I've had a Maroon, Black Percula and 2 Ocellarus together in a 105g for about 5 years now. They don't fight but the maroon definitely owns her side of the tank. The black and ocellarus never bother anything.

The skunkpair will be in a different tank that doesn't currently contain any other clowns or damsels of any sort.

I have an ocellaris pair that spends its time in a green tree coral within 6-8 inches of the H. crispa that my pink skunks are in, without incident. Both paris spawn regularly. The pink skunks are only aggresive in two situations:

1. to me if I stick my hand by the anemone,

or especially

2. toward their own reflections in the nearby glass when it is clean. :)

I kept Gold Stripes, Blacks and False percs pairs in a 180 each with thier own host. They did not bother each other.

They host goes in first and the three pairs go in at the same time.

Measure of the success is all to do with; timing, size (small), tank size (large), and host being present.

Even with these conditions I would never try it with Clarks or Tomato's

On another note never make exceptions for "well that one sort of looks ok", they all had to be active and healthy swimmers.

I had this group for about five years and everyone knew were the boundries where after a while.

Though in the beginning the grass was always greener at the other host. At least for the Blacks the Golds moved in and stayed put and no one ever challanged them.
