Does anyone have a metal brake?

How long of a brake do you need? What are you going to bend?

My bro. in law has one, can't remember if it's 4' or 6'

That would work I got DIY plans for a nice reflector I would like to build and it would turn out alot neater with the right equipment.

lumniarc what are those?

Never heard of them.

I've got some good DIY plans with very exact measurements. I think it is based on a hexagon or decagon or something.

Anyway it seem pretty sttraight forward with a brake.

You can get the alum. at Lowes too.

Oooo I forgot. Much use for sheet metal bending in HVAC Kevin?

so Covey, [sorry about the Hyjack.. :)] would it be worth getting a club meeting assembly line and mass producing a bunch of this type of design? we would need a spot welder as well. sheet metal isn't cheap either

the main concern would be to find a way to perfectly center the bulb in the center of the reflector.

there are 13 reflective sides i believe, [in 4 different shapes including the octagon base] with a way to both move air through it to cool [important] as well as mount/ center the bulb.

Oh Yea. it would be worth looking at the patent to see what they did so we don't get accused for reverse engineering a product.,

I have a sheet of aluminum in my garage, I used to have a friend with a brake machine but he sold it.

I have a friend in sheet metal working here in town, maybe he can provide some help if no one else comes through :)

covey- are you out fo internet still? you have been quieter than normal
