Does anyone think this is a problem?

Hello, I have this beautiful Sailfin tang and the other day I noticed this....white stuff on one of his fins. I don't know what it is. He is not acting strange or anything; he is not rubbing up against any rocks or anything and appears to be feeding fine. I am going to post some pics. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.

Again, if anyone has any ideas what that white stuff is and/or if I need to be worried about it. I don't remember it being on there when I got him.

Thanks in advance!!!

Rick

it looks like lymphocystis, it is a viral infection with no treatment other than good water quality and a good diet, 1 question do you have the tang in a 30 gallon?if so he needs a bigger tank

Yes, he is in a 30g; I'm working on a bigger tank. What would be considered the minimum size tank for him?

looks like ich to me. i would qt just to be on the safe side
Could be. I have a Powder Brown in quarantine right now with Ich, and the very first thing I noticed was his fin looking pretty much like what is in that picture. There were spots on his flank several hours later.
