Does Kalkwasser go bad?

Getting back into the hobby after a few years away. I have a container that was tightly closed and the contents looks fine but wondering if it has a shelf life?

As long as it didn't get moisture in it, and as long as it wasn't open to air, it should be fine.

You could mix some up and test pH if you want. It should be near the top of the scale.

Is this a bag/container full of Kalk or a bucket full of water with kalk in it? If it's the former make sure to keep it dry as a bone, if it's the latter the more oxygen the "mix" has the less potent it will be. Hope this made since. GL.
