Does my torch have brown jelly disease?

I've never fragged anything before. My torch has 2 heads that have been retracted for about a week now. I did put a small powerhead on the opposite side of my tank to increase the flow about a month ago.
I noticed this morning, that the two heads seem to be dying. From what I've read, I should frag them off? At the stony base? Do I pull the whole thing out of the tank to do it? Use an Xacto blade?
I'm going to check my parameters as soon as I post this, so I can respond to those questions in a minute, but I wanted to get the pics up right now so I can get some responses if I need to do some immediate surgery.
Thanks.

Salinity: 1.024

I suspect I have been overfeeding. I have added Prime to bring my Amm back to zero. I dosed for Calcium to raise it. Normal is 420.

I have a bottle of Revive Coral Cleaner. Should I use it? When I originally dipped my hammer in it before putting in my tank, it really didn't like it at all. I heard once that the dose should be 1/2 for LPS.

Should I dip my torch? Frag the bad part, dip it and see if it lives?

Well, I seem to be talking to myself here, so I'm going by the seat of my pants.

I took the torch out of the tank, put it in tank water and blew the brown, dying flesh out with a turkey baster. It came out very easily.

Then I rinsed it off in a separate bowl full of tank water before placing it back into my tank. I've reduced the flow that was directed at it as well.

I anticipate some more die off perhaps, but guess it's a waiting game at the moment.

There's still a ton of debate as to what brown jelly disease is...or if it even exists. A dying coral will look that way as its tissue rots...so it's hard to say.

Regardless, yes, the ammonia is probably the culprit. Or, the coral could've had an injury and developed an infection.

Dips help a lot, especially in cases of injury. I haven't used Revive, so I can't speak to it. You can try fragging the coral to save the remaining pieces, but it's difficult to do on a coral like that without a band saw. You can try bone cutters, but an Exacto knife won't do a thing.

Any other corals having issues?

No, the other corals look great. I have a hammer and a frogspawn. I did a 15% wc this morning, and just did another 15%. I added 1/2L of Seachem Matrix. Had it on hand, not sure it's going to help.

No feeding today. I have a protein skimmer, so I think I assumed I could be a bit more liberal with the food since I got it. Apparently not.
