Does this look like Crypto...?

Hey guys,

About to leave the house for the night but looking for some quick help. Was working on my tank this morning before work, noticed a few spots on one of my clowns. Thought it might have just been something kicked up and stuck on for a little bit. Came home from work, spots still there, starting to think Crypto. Did the best I could quickly and took some pics. If you guys could give your opinion I would appreciate it. If you guys think it is, they will be moved to the HT in the morning.

They are the only fish in the tank. They were in QT for a week, but they are my first fish, got anxious, made my first mistake and transferred them too soon.:headwalls:

Only other things are crabs, snails and corals(Xenia and Colt added last night).

I'm not 100% sure what it is but I don't think it's Ich.

I'm not saying they are, but judging from the pics your fish look healthy.

Alright, I'll probably wait it out another day or so. Maybe try to see if I can get some better pics...Fish Photography is not as some of you guys make it seem!

i cant see what your referring to in the pics,other than that your fish looks very good.you may want to treat the tank with pima fix,its an anti fungal remedy,just remove carbon and shut off protien skimmer or it will overflow for 1 week.chemi pure is a great food supplement to help give a fish the proper vitamins and nutrients.excellent water quality and a supreme diet will almost always keep a happy healthy fish.

Chemi-Pure is a food supplement that contains vitamins? I think you're confusing Chemi-Pure with something else, maybe Selcon? Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan - but IMO Chemi-Pure is just fancy carbon. I think the Elite version adds a little GFO.

Why treat for fungus? Fungal infections in fish are very rare, fuzzy, and usually secondary to a previous wound or bacterial infection.

To the OP: Watch these spots closely for any skin problems, sores, skin sloughing, etc. If they start multiplying, you'll need to treat it. Were these fish given a QT regimen?
