Does this RP looked bleached?

Have had it for a few months and hasn't grown much except for throwing a nice base of encrustment down. I'd love for it to have a nice green base but I don't think it will ever get there.

Does it looked bleached or unhealthy? I have it under a 6 bulb powermodule relatively low in the tank.

I think it looks healthy. mine took a.while to turn green. I think it has to do with water chemistry and lighting. if you see other peoples rp they don't always turn green and I don't know.why. different tanks different results.

Looks good in the photo, you can try cutting the tips and see if it grows upwards more. The RP is known to just encrust for as long as 9 months before sending out new branches.

just leave it alone...i had one that encrusted like crazy before it grew up, but when it did, it grew like crazy. once the coral gets bigger, the lower portions of the branches will turn green when they start to get shaded by the ends of the branches

Looking good, RP will turn more pink under higher light.

Not even close to bleached - looks great. My RP seems to green up at the base with lower light/more actinic.

+1 on looking really nice. Also +1 on it take a while to encrust itself, it'll shoot up fast after it settles.

3 months later. It's encrusted nicely, still hasn't really sprouted upwards. Color has darkened...more green in the base.
