Doing topdown shots and avoiding bulb reflection.

Is there a good way to do top down shots and avoid reflection? I have a pendant and it's impossible to shift the light like when I PCs over legs.

Or get a polarizing filter...they are made to cut reflections and work best at reducing reflections on water.

Don't polarizers cut down on light as well?
May be some but may even help to enhance the coloration.

Perhaps you could put something that won't allow light to pass beside your pendant. Light will still enter the tank and get your corals, however you can place you camera at a point where the light is being stopped.

It's hard to explain what I mean....

However, this solution would likely greatly affect your lighting for the photo, perhaps creating a whole new set of obstacles.
