Ok I have had a plan for my tank for a little while now but now I am not so sure. I have a 75 tank and stand with 3 holes drilled on the left side of the back of tank. I need to put a overflow box there. I was planning on getting a megaflow 3 sump and also having a 30g fuge/dsb that drained into the 75. Now the 30 gallon tank has a crack on the corner and I think it leaks. I also havent bought the sump yet. So I dont know what to do. Any ideas on what I could do for a sump and a fuge. Anyone have anything for sale that would work for me?

Maybe a cheap 55g tank and use it as both sump and fuge. As far as DSB I read that you can take a 5 gal salt bucket and put two bulkhead near the top. One on each side then fill it with about 6-8 inches of sand. Have a pump run water in the bucket and it will flow back out into the sump. You have to get the flow just right not to mess up the sand. Everyone that I read about says it works good. I plan to use one one my new tank.

I thought about the 55. It would also work with a 75. I would prefer to buy a 75 with a overflow box already in it. That or a 90 and then I could use the 75 I have as a sump/fuge.

I have one I took out of service about a year ago . If your in St Charles anytime soon your more than welcome to come by and look at it .

I have a 30 with a stand I bought from Chad sitting in the basement. Its in perfect shape, not sure exactly what you are looking for but I was going to drill this and plumb it into my main system for softies and stuff...
