Don't know what's growing on my hermit crab plz help

Well looked in my tank and noticed something white growing on my hermit crab she'll that looks like it has a white kind of feather coming out of it , is this good or bad?

Kind of hard to tell from the pic, but they look like barnacles to me. Harmless filter feeders, if that is indeed what they are. Do they have "Fans" waving out of the tops?

Those are barnacles, I wouldn't worry about it too much. These are filter feeders, they kick their little crustacean legs and feed on what they catch out of the water column.
