Don't know what's wrong

[Deep Reef]

I put this possum wrasse through TO method and all was good. Moved him into the qt on yuesday. All was good. Now he is laying on the bottom of the tank and looks like he will die. Ni visible signs of disease


Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hard to tell what is wrong from the picture. Can you describe his behavior? Is his respiration elevated? Does he seem alert? Is he eating? Wrasses are known to "play dead" and lay down on the bottom of the tank when stressed.

He didnt appear to eat yesterday. Just hid today. I reached in and nudged him. Be barly moved. It Doesn't appear to be breathing hard.

TO method is what? How was the SG of the transport water matched by SG of water where the wrasse first was added?

Checked on him again he was moving around the bottom corner of the tank.

Sorry tt method. All water was temp and sal verified at 1.025. He looks dead. I can't figure this out. I'm doing more now with less success then when I first started. ...very frustrating
