Well there have been talks of this forum being dead.... I will bring some life. Here are a ton of pics from my tank. Many of you haven't seen it and I have not seen yours.... so hopefully this will be the first of a handful of tank pictures. I will start with my new additions from the Exotic Aquatics and Midwest Reef Supply trip yesterday.

Pajama Cardinals from Exotic Aquatics (1 big and 1 small... big one has some fin damage but seems to be doing well):

Well hopefully you enjoyed the pics even though my camera skills lack.... also ignore the cyano... I feed extremely heavily and it really doesn't bother me too much since the corals respond so well to the feeding. I am moving to Schaumburg soon so will hopefully be able to address the cyano in the new tank.

Here are some other fish pics (shhh... no tang police):

Nice pics. Everything seems to be looking pretty nice. I have two ID questions though...name on the large bubble coral, and name on the orange fish. Thanks.

don't know the scientific name for bubble corals but the common name is just bubble coral... I am loooking to get a green one. They are LPS and typically need to be sheltered from high flow and don't need the most light. The orange fish with the blue eye is a midas blenny. neat fish that is pretty active. he perches under the arch on the right but comes out of his area quite often.

Thanks for the compliments!!

Thanks for all of the compliments... I am moving in the next week or two and will be upgrading to a 75.... keep an eye out for some new pictures when that goes up

Nope I won a 75g reef ready tank from them.... this is just a 55 that I have had for a couple years. It used to be a freshwater community tank..... then it became a red belly piranha tank until my landlord killed them at school (power outage that they didnt get power back on while I was gone for a few days), and after I moved home from college I converted it to a reef. My first time at OF was when they had an SPS frag sale and I got a raffle ticket.... about a week later I got a call that I won the 75g tank. Unfortunately its been in my (parents) garage since then. Now I am moving out and going to use teh 75 to make the move easier... besides I have all the equipment so i might as well set it up!
