Did that come from PetZone? It looks familiar.
Looks like a large piece of monti cap thats dead around the edges and algea, or possible cyano, is growing on it.

Larry, I was at PetZone today and I think I saw the piece of monti cap that you mentioned you brought there still in his tank. Has hair algae growing across the middle of it and looks like it killed the spots it was covering.

thanks guys.thats what i orginally thought but wasnt sure.its actually bright green and about nthe size of a dinner plate.picked it up last year at thp and its one of my favorite pieces

i understand and thats really too bad considering that they are the only lfs in the immediate area now.i wish their coral variety was a lil bit better along with the saltwater fish.imo for what its worth its a husbandry issue over anything although i wish them the best of luck and understand from my own expierence how tough that buissness is.
