doser tubing O.K.?

I'm in the process of hooking up a doser and it says that the hose should be suitable for the chemical characteristics of the liquid being pumped . the hose is common 1/4" flexible airline tubing and the liquid is TLF part A and B supplement. Anyone see a problem?

If it is a peristaltic doser typical airline hose will not stand up to the repeated "squishing" as the rollers roll over it.

I don't think that part A & B will be a problem. Silicone airline tubing might last longer than the vinyl tubing but even it won't last long.

Many dosers used in this hobby are medical enternal pumps. I get Kangaroo pump sets off eBay that work well. There are also a number of hobby sources that produce suitable tubing. For 1/4 inch OD tubing you might check with online sources that carry Litermeter pumps.

Um I mean the input and output lines the lines that get repeatedly squished come with the unit. sorry I should have been more specific
