Dosing C-Balance and Water Testing Help

Work In Progress
So I decided to try a 2-part solution instead of my kalkwasser auto-top off. It was producing low numbers with my clams in my tank. I have a couple questions regarding this. So I have 2 dosing pumps with timers. I am trying to figure out WHEN to dose.

I know I need to dose about 11ml per day according to my tank size and what I have in my tank. I spoke to two little fishes and that is their recommendation. I am just wondering when I should put part A in and when I should put part B in?

Also with this being said. I have looked at the calculators online that show me how much I need to raise from point A to point B. So what does this mean? I do a water test and get the information I need to get to point B then dose? Well when do I test the water again? If I test it at the same time the next day I would assume it will be back to point A until i dose the same amount again?

I guess what i am confused on is should I be testing the water a few hours after the dosing has been done or before? Because it may not look where I want it to be if I check the water right before dosing? Any explanation would be appreciated.

you need to dose the recommended amount (11mls of each) every day. it is best to do it in small increments, multiple times per day, but im guessing you dont have dosing pumps.

after dosing that amount for a while (a week or two) you should check your cal and alk levels and see if your tank has reached equilibrium in a good spot. if it hasnt, adjust your dosing.

this is not really an "advanced topic" just so you know. all of the info you could ever need about two part dosing is easily available with the search feature.
