dosing calcium and alk???

When dosing 2part say calcium is 380 ...alk is 9dkh ..do I just add the calcium part (part A) if I want to raise my calcium and keep my alk at 9 dkh or does the 2part have to be dosed with both ...so I basically want to get calcium at 450 but withought raising my alk

To raise your Calc to 450 then just dose calcium, I would raise your calcium over 3 days to get to your target. Once you arrive at your target you then have to figure out "how much per day" your tank is using. Once you figure that out you would dose equal amounts of ALK/CALC. Most people will monitor ALK as it moves more per day than calcium. So you can see a smaller change with the ALK. However for maintenance you dose equal amounts.

I've stopped doing Calcium... seems like there isn't enough demand in our tanks yet.

Both have 500+. Just going to leave it off until it falls back down to 420 or so.
