Dosing calcium

I wanted to get a few idea for dosing calcium and what you guys this works best. I only have a small tank so im thinking a calcium reactor is out of the question. Iv seen a few product but all the reviews I read are the same. Suppose to be the most superior calcium supplement out there. So i would like some opinions for the more experianced members here. So far iv been looking into

Kalkwasser
Kent Liquid Reactor
Two Part solutions

What do u guys think? The liquid reactor states it can be used in conjunction with kalkwasser.

Personally for me, it depends on the size of the tank. If you have a nano tank or lots of money, you can use 2 part solutions. In a larger system, you will go through a lot of it. There is a recipe out there for homemade solutions. You could look in the chemistry section of RC.

I ran a 75 gallon with Kalkwasser. Just go to the store and buy pickling lime as it is the same thing, only much cheaper. You need to be very careful with this, as adding too much at a time will raise the pH significantly and burn your fish and corals. It worked well for me as my topoff water. I had good growth on my hard corals. Also, since kalk is balanced alk and calcium, it is easier to mix and dose.
