Dottybacks for a 110 gallon reef tank.

If you're moving an anemone over from an established tank with live rock, you're probably fine as long as you're not introducing enough new rock to start a cycle..

Frankly, the one-year (or six-month, or whatever) rule is as much about "seasoning" the reefkeeper as the tank.

The new tank will be cycled and stable before the fish or nem are transfered. Will gradually transfer the rock from the 45 gallon to the 110. Am starting the 110 with new arragonite live sand and reel reef live rock. Then will gradually transfer rock and corals from the 45 to the 110. The clowns and Nem will go last. As far as seasoning the reefkeeper goes I definitely have a world of learning ahead. Hopefully my oldish brain still can absord the fine points of reefkeeping like a sponge:reading:

I am thinking of getting a dottyback, but does a dottyback eat pellets like New Life Spectrum? We will be out of the town lots in summer. I just want to make sure an auto feeder can take care of it.

A sea K, I didn't buy it at Diver Den. I bought it at the local Petco, and they sell a orchid dottyback for $19.99. I think Liveaquaria sell it for $49.99. Huge price difference.
