I've been away and just came back from a 2 months vacation...needless to say my return pump died 1 day after i am gone. All the fishes are still alive and doing well, but 80% of the corals died.
I am now thinking of downsizing from a 180gal system to 50gal RR with ~50gal sump. The only things that can't be move from my current 125 are the purple and sailfin tang and that's the main drawback of downsizing (for me anyway hehe.) Plus with the 50gal tank, I won't have that shallow in the middle that cause by the 1/2" glass I have in my 125. Although I won't able to keep that much corals and fishes in there, that will be a great eye sore to get rid of.
Hopefully, I can start to build my one-piece stand/canopy within a month and start the move in 2. BTW, where can I get a good deal on a 50gal RR tank. I think it's about 30"x18"x22". Thanks!
