dragon goby

Is it possible to keep a dragon gobie with horses? They seem to keep the sand bed very clean. And being that the flow in the tank is low, it concerns me with the amount of algea that will form. Any other suggestions would help. Thanks!

I don't know, they get pretty big and beefy, I would go with a smaller sand sifter like a blue dot (Valenciennea sexguttata) or something smaller. My blue dot does well with my two SH.

these guys sift the sand well.I was just wondering the dragon goby get about 5.9in and the blue dot about 5.5 in, is that half inch that big of a deal or is it just the demener of the fish you are talking about.

I was talking about both. I haven't seen alot of them, but I haven't seen one get that big, not saying that they couldn't. I have seen quite a few dragon gobies and they do get that big, 6" at least and the ones I've seen have been pretty aggressive, at least territorially. My blue spot is pretty mild mannered, I've had it for about 5 months, haven't seen significant growth, I'm not sure it has. It may be 4" long, but it's a small 4 if you know what I mean.

We have a dragon goby in our reef tank. He minds his own business, the pink spotted however can be aggressive, not toward really any other fish just to the dragon. Judging by mine, I wouldn't think that he should cause a problem.
