I was wondering the same thing. I added a Spotted Dragonet a little over two months ago and although I seeded the fuge early when I started this tank I never really saw much pods. But he does do the head bob and his lateral line that was visible when I first brought him home when he was skinny is now unnoticeable, so it does look like he's plumping up.
