I have cut acrlylic with several different diamond bits for glass, seems best to use a slow speed for less melting. On the slowest setting on mine the acrlylic came off like powder/dust. I had the best cuts with a cylinder shaped bit for notchs and small or curved cuts for long cuts that you want straight a table saw is best-I borrowed one.l have also made nice cuts with a circular saw with a good blade. Acrlylic is alot softer than the polycarbonate that my friend gave me, acrlylic was a joy to cut after that stuff.
