Drilling my 36 Gallon

depends on the actual bulkhead. Go to glass holes site, look up their 1" bulkhead and see what size hole it requires.

I am thinking of ordering a overflow kit from them, but I don't know what size kit I would need. It's a 36 Gallon bow front, I want to keep exclusively SPS...?

Figure out how much flow you want through it, that will determine everything else.

Most people say that for SPS you want a minimum of 20x... so for your 36g tank, you'd want a minimum of 720gph. That can come from the overflow box/return pump exclusively, or from a combination of the return pump and powerhead(s).

I can't figure out where it says how mcuh flow comesd out of the nano overflow? I was planning on running a couple 425 Koralia's as well.

the over flow rate will be based on you return rate not the power heads you have in the tank. But for a 36g 300gph would be enough through the sump you just need to find a return pump that will do less than 300gph at the head height you will have.

I am going to get a 700gph rated overflow I have to do the math to see how big of a pump I need for it though when all said amd done with the twist and turns of the pipe
