Dripping Kalk

I wish to know which way is best when dripping kalk.

I mean do you think it is best to install a ball valve with the Kalk reservoir and drip Limewater 24/7 as evaporated water instead of only RO/DI ?

Or it is better to leave the ball valve connected with a reservoir of RO/DI water ready for evaporation water and do a 10 gallon container filled with Lime water and drip it slowly, I mean 1 drop every 2-3 seconds ?

Please help me solve this because I think it is very important for most of us .

You may laugh at me, but I still use the tried and true method of the ole knot in the airline tubing. It has worked for years and NEVER failed me. I just clamp it to the jug and drip it into the fuge...
