I am getting ready to order salt from the doctors site. Right now they have IO for 29.59 and reef crystals for 31.99. Shipping of anything over 260.00 is only 17.99 !!! Figured some of you might want to jump in on this....
I dont care if you want to order something else as well but that is a heck of a deal on the salt! Was thinking I would order by Monday but could wait so post if you want something and we can work out the details.

... better make it IO for me instead of Reef Crystals... I just saw a thread about Reef Crystals having a bad batch with low ph..(7.7, 7.8ish),.. Makes me wonder if there is anything else wrong with it besides PH..

Jason

There's two. I will keep this going thru the weekend and see who else jumps on. Pretty sure everyone needs salt :)
Triggerjay> do you know where you read about RC's bad batch????

I'll take the below items:

Item # Description Price Qty
CD-234234 Tech-M 16 oz $7.69 x 4= $30.76

CD-16881 Instant Ocean 160 gallon mix $29.59 x 2= $59.18

Subtotal = $89.94

Thanks,
Chad

I just ordered 2 buckets of reef crystal from the doctor last week. Just opened one so I will be testing tommorow to make sure they test okay.

Did my testing for alkalinity and seemed okay but my calcium seemed low. Going to contact Dr Fosters to see what they want me to do. Don't have a mag test to test that.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I stopped by Troy's place in Republic today and he has Instant Ocean by the case (200 gallons) for $42. When you figure your portion of shipping and the extra 40 gallons (or is it 50?), you're probably ahead purchasing it there. Support your LFS!!

I completely agree on supporting the live fish stores> I want red sea salt and reef crystals though> no one has those :(
Anyhow, thinking about placing the order soon, say Thursday, but Im open. Lets see if anyone else chimes in Today or tommorrow. Then I will add everything up and let you know your total and you can decide if you want in!
Regards

count me out on the RC salt. i've tested my 4 buckets and they are all low on PH, calcium, and most importantly super low on Mag. i'm going to go another route.

thanks though!

What salt are you going to try???? Have you heard anything on Red Sea Pro?
On another note> I would happily pick up a tank for you when I go to fishworms....

Probably seachem reef salt, that's what I used to use before it came hard to get locally, and before that was tropic marin reef salt. Thanks for picking up the tank.
