I'm about to order about 200 lbs of pukani rock. My question is if I find the rock is leaching p04, what is the easiest and cheapest way to resolve this? I know i should also wash it off as well as i can to get as much old organics off. For me time isn't an issue since its still going to some time before I get the rest of my equipment to setup the tank.
After reading through this thread I was also wondering with what limited equipment I have could I put the rock in my tank, fill with SW, circulate through my sump with some cheato? Would this be effective?
Like I say I have all the time I need, so I'm not worried if this takes a long time.
