dry sand

i think i may finally get around to adding a dsb to my fuge this weekend and was wonderinig if anyone has been to ecoreef latley and knows if they have any dry sand? or anywhere else that may have some.... the last few times i was at eco reef they didnt have any

Is this the sand Treeman used to sell , how much they sell a bag for ?

It is the same sand. I don't know what they sell it for but I am bringing another load over there on Friday.

I was at Eco this afternoon, Roberts got about 8 bags ready to go and a couple of boxes still unopened. Get 'em while ya can.

i wouldnt go with the deep sand bed unless you plan on changing it about every year-year and a half. and it should be about 6-8 inchs to go anerobic, some ive seen even deeper.

miracle mud is deffinatley a better fuge substrate, IMO

ive heard mixed feeling about miracle mud plus i plan to go bigger within a year-year and a half
