Dual reactor plumbing question

Heya Folks -
I'm planning on getting 2 of the 2 little fishes reactor. 1 for carbon, 1 for phos. I'm a little confused on how to plumb this into my system though. I know you can get away using only 1 pump (mj400?). The way I see it, theres 2 ways I could plumb this..
1) Output of pump to T, one end of T to reactor 1, other end of T to reactor 2, both reactor outputs to the sump

or

2) Output of pump to reactor 1, output of reactor 1 to input of reactor 2, output of reactor 2 to sump.

Is there another way I haven't thought of? If the best option is #2, which media should be in reactor 1 and which should be in reactor 2?

I have mine set up like #2.


Carbon in the first reactor and phos media in second reactor.....I have a MJ400 on my two.

I use option #1, w/ more flow going thru the carbon.
