Duncan help

I have a duncan coral in my tank that had about 6 heads on it. My tank parameters went crazy and I thought I had killed the whole thing but 2-3 of the heads came out of the skeleton and got stuck under another rock but still inflated? Will they eventually die or do I still have some hope? I think today is day 2 like this

What do you mean stuck under a rock? I would move it so it's in the open and able to heal.

It sounds like Polyp Bailout to me. Generally this is not good.

Sounds like those polyps are gone unfortunately. Keep the skeleton for a little while though, sometimes (not always) new polyps develop from coral you would think was dead.

You have a chance to save it. if you can reach the heads, glue them to a frag plug and they will regrow they're skeleton. But to have success the tank must be stable if whatever caused them to bailout continues they will likely die.

You can also stick the heads in a small tupperware container at the bottom of your tank just lose inside the container. They can regrow this way as well it just takes time.
