Duncanopsammia question

I was wondering what duncans are selling for (per polyp) these days around the counrtry. There's a really nice piece of 10 polyps at my LFS, and the price tag would knock your socks off. I won't post it, but, I am trying to see if it's totally out of line.

Pretty much 15-30 a polyp. Though 30 is a little much.

Ive still seen them around for upwards of $50 per polyp, but can be had for half that on average. Depends to some extent on size and color.

Hmmm... if they are so common now, why are the suppliers still selling the store a 10 polyp colony for $150, which then is marked up to two times the wholesale, to $300 (though most stores in my area mark things up three times what they pay for it)?

Vivid Aquarium and Atlantis Aquarium both sell Duncans for ~ $20/polyp.

It all depends on the coloration, basic tanish green is $10-$15 up to the neon green, maybe $60-$80. There is a major difference in how they look and it's all based on what you think they are worth
