duncans not opening up

I have a 6 head duncan that does not open. The tentacles are pulled in. All other corals are great (acros, montis, leathers, hammers, zoes, mushrooms, etc.) They are under full spectrum led lights total 360 watts. They are midcenter in tank. Good flow. Any ideas?

Same thing happened to me. For over 2 months it wouldn't open. Finally took to my friends tank and after one month is doing great. Still don't know what was wrong with it

try feeding them , it worked for my duncans . Had one for a year one head ,moved it and started to feed the bugger now it has 4 new heads .

MiamiAngler - did you feed them anything special? I have a group of about 6 from the frag swap last year and they're always open, but they look pretty much the same. also, could you tell us what type of lights you have and where they are positioned in your tank? thanks for the info!

I have three 55 x 3 led units with mostly white and blue. Some red, yellow green and violet. What do you feet yours?

I have mine on the sand bed .around 100Par . I just feed what I feed my fish some pellet food ,brine shrimp or Mysis shrimp 2x week mine are under led lights moderate flow

I have a 75g tank with two new led lights. my duncans are right in the middle of the tank and they get a good flow where they are now. I haven't spot fed them as of yet, but I like the look of a big colony of duncans, so I will try what miamiAngler does- thanks for the tip. I have a feeling that the new lights are a bit too bright during the middle of the day - the lights simulate a full cycle of light for a day so I will have to figure out how to dim them a bit. thanks nanron and miamiAngler.
