Duncans vs Acans!

I just got home from an 8 day vacation and at some point my duncans fell off their perch and landed perfectly upright on the sandbed right next to an acan colony.

Guess who won :hmm4:? I lost about 30 heads of acans but the duncans are unharmed. Luckily there are still a good 40-50 acan heads left so hopefully they will cover over the dead skeletons in a couple months.

My brain also got buried under the sand and looks none too happy, but everything looks great otherwise. Is it possible to go on vacation and have nothing go wrong??

I had a torch land on a acan colony,acans lost that battle big-time..But they did recover 100%

You need to take a step back and check everything. You haven't had much luck lately bud....lol. I'm surprised the Duncan's one. The colony should be fine though. Make sure everything is in check and they should heal nicely.

i always worry about everything on vacation..between the aviary and the tanks...too many variables....

I'm surprised too! I had a large duncan colony fall off its perch and 2 heads of acan destroyed most of it!
