Dwarf Angel Info

I've been looking around on the net for information on Dwarf Angels and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. When I started, I was told that Angels are going to pick at my corals pretty much no matter what, but now I see that that's not the case and I'd like to try one out. Basically, I'm looking for which are readily available for aquaria, what kind of corals they tend to pick at, how big they get, and some of the easier types to start out with. I don't mind going 100% SPS if that's what it takes, but I'd like to keep some anemones if possible. Thanks in advance!

Angels are hit and miss when it comes to corals. Some are fine, some are not, some behave themselves for years and then wipe out your prized acan colony. It really depends on the individual though some species are safer than others.

Type of corals is also a factor. sadly, LPS my faves, are pretty much standard Centropyge fare, esp. Trachy's.
Still, some angels are model citizens. Fish are as individual as humans in some ways, you just never know..

def no lemonpeel lol, my noobness took the best of my and the little guy is just munching away at my SPS colonies as well as my Acans :(... just grabbed a fish trap today and hope to catch the little fella.... Good luck with your search though.

The flame angel I have right now ignores my zoas and acans and picks at my acros. I had awesome polyp extension, added the angel, and then none. My wife caught him in the morning picking at the acros and I had my answer. He is going into a different tank. My previous flame angel (died in a fight, long story) was in a mixed reef and did not touch anything. It really is a random chance at what they pick at.
