dyed coral

I pretty positive this leather I bought is dyed pink. I have never heard of a coral this color. My question is this, will this hurt anything in my tank other than the coral itself?

With the blotches it does look dyed but my wife does have a soft coral that color (dendronephia) spelling ? I think.

Im sure its dyed too. It will not harm anything else in the tank directly. The coral is less likely to survive than if it had been left natural, so if it dies youll obviously want to get it out of the tank- the dead coral would be harmful to your other stuff, but the dye itself will not be.
