Lets keep it simple.
Last year I decided to start my super ultra mega nano reef. Started with a joke/statement with this picture:
I got the stir I was hoping for. Plus a few wing nuts that just didn't get it. Kidding. Love you all.
Anyways, I acquired a massive amount of equipment, began to assemble, and tragedy struck my life. Stuck the dying tope in a closet with a massive ATO to keep live rock alive and forget about it. I dealt with my problems and six months later I tracked down a funky smell to the back room closet where I found a yuck of an aquarium. After massive cleaning this is what I had:
Beside the smell it was not so bad! Admittedly there was a sudden rush when I realized that this is a weekend away from being in my living room and awesome. So it began. Painted the wall, finished the plumbing, and moved it into the living room. That was 9 months ago. And here is what we have today:
