I just saw a pair of cloewns at a lfs that were close to each other and they were not trying to kill each other. Just wanted to know if they have paired up or is this just concidence? they were maroon and no other fish were in the tank. Should i go out anc buy them. there was one that was definitally bigger than the other too if that at all helps.

the larger one of the two is the female and the other the male, I think they are a pair jmo tho

quite likely at least a budding relationship. If they are in there alone and they are maroons but not killing each other it's pretty safe.

its at the local p$tco. for 15.99 each is that a decent price? should i get a anemone?

Sounds like a decent price. You should definately put them in QT if you buy them. Petco isn't the greatest in husbandry IME.

The clowns do not need an anemone. If you are really interested in getting an anemone and you have the right environment then there are some good choices.
