eclipse for mantis

do you guys think I would be ok using a 3g eclipse set up for a mantis? I'd add a few inches LS, and a pound or two LR. I want to get a smaller variety, but one that is still colorful. Does anyone know any species that could work for this set up.

For a smaller species, that sounds fine.

G. smithii is small and colorful. G. tern(something-or-other) is also colorful and small.

The setup sounds fine as well.
