Ive been thinking bout getting 3 ecotech radion for my 72" 200gal reef tank. Does any one know if 3 units would be enough light for the tank? I've been leaning more toward the pro but didnt know if the $250 price difference is worth the difference. I would love some input from all the ecotech owners!!

Three Radions will not be enough in a 72" tank. I have 3 on my 24" tank and it covers all area. You need a minimum of 4. As for Pro or Gen2, it depends on how deep your tank is. If it's 24", I would go with Gen2, if deeper, go Pro.

each radion covers 24"x24" (people say they can do more but would have small shadowing) Pro's also have a better spectrum and par. Im planning a 60g cube 24x24x24 with One radion pro

I have a 6 foot wide tank and I get great coverage with 2 Gen2. Good coral extension and growth...

3 Radion pros will cost almost $3000. 2 ghl mitras units will run $2400.

I put a Radion over my 24g tank that is about 18x18 for a few days. No way I'd ever try to stretch it out to 24x24.

I'm currently building a 60g cube and I'm not dumping almost 2k into my lighting for the Radions. I'm sticking with my t5s. I can replace a ton of bulbs with the $1500 I'm saving. I'm also using less electricity.

3 Radions would be perfectly fine for 72 inches. 3 Radion pros would be more than fine.

As to whether the pros are "worth it", it's a tough call. Some would say the extra light spectrums are very useful. Others claim not so much. I don't know how to evaluate these claims.
