I was looking for anyone that might have personel experience with the vortech powerhead , looking to purchase one or two , if there worth the money . I have read a bunch of reviews and sounds like there about 50/50 both good and bad . I guess if your lucky you get a good one and if you not you have to call Icecap everyday.

I have one and they did have problems when they first came out. I had to get several parts replaced and it took them about two weeks into June to get it corrected. But I have not had any problems with it since then. I like it so much that I am looking to purchase another one. I can't think of a better innovative power head on the market. If you buy one you will not be disappointed. You can come over and see mine anytime. Also, Bio Reef has them on sale, a good time to purchase one.

What qualifies as "on sale"?
Marine D has them running $344.99... More-over my point is that they are PRICY!
I know it is a unique design, etc...but they seem to be very proud of their powerhead.
Just from doing some digging about the product, it seems that the verdict is still out on it.
Don't get me wrong....I love IC products.

Where have you been lately? It's been a year since I have seen you. Are you going to the Anthony Calfo meeting? How is your 300 fish only tank doing and your reef tanks? Also, check out the NFMAS thread on thereeftank.
