Ecotech / Vortech pump sync?

Just picked up a pair of the MP40w pumps & all I can say is these things are nice! The only problem is I can not get them to sync. It seems to be about as basic as it can get to do this but they will not pair up. They both want to flash green/blue for master. Any suggestions?

Make sure the WWD's are close together and in line of sight. Signal will not pass through the water. Sounds like you have the master set properly. Go back and clear the memory of the slave pump and give it another try. It is possible you may have to start from scratch with both pumps and start from step 1 again.

They are about one inch apart side by side. Could they be too close? I will go try again. I also just read a few of the FAQ here & they have answered some other questions.

After reading the FAQ thread they where set up in minutes! If only the instructions where as detailed as the thread. One MP40w was pretty impressive in my 120, two is just awesome.
