ecotech vortech rf (wireless) module keeps flashing red and white

i took the rf module out and back in and unplugged the controller and plugged it back in but it's still making the controller flash red and white. i called into ecotech all they say on the matter is that it's defective and i'm out of warrenty. i never opened the case before i find it stupid how it suddenly became defective out of no where..has anyone else experienced this problem and possibly fixed it? thanks

pump doesn't work while the rf module is plugged in and flashing red and white however when i take the wireless module out the pump works

It depends on the rep you call I got mine replace free of charge out if warranty. Reason I told you to call.

I'm guessing you're placing the rf module in with the ecotech sticker facing down.

it's the right way the gold legs are facing down into the holes
