Ecsenius bicolor (Bicolor Blenny) eggs !!!

Hello from Greece...

I am posting this on behalf of a fellow hobbyist from Crete, Greece. His name is Tasos (aka SalTasos) and maybe he will join us here.

Tasos had for some months two bicolor blennies in his reef tank. Some days ago he noticed the belly of the female one to be larger than usual and later on she layed eggs on the aquarium that the couple guarded!!! I search a lot but cannot find any info regarding breeding of Ecsenius bicolor. We would appreciate any info you may have in order to try to succeed in raising some of those babies even in another time in the future as I hope that they will continue mating.

In the photos you can see the mom before that laying of the eggs and of course the...eggs

Very cool. I had a pair of Ecsenius graveri that spawned twice...never got to a hatch though - http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=778472

Do some searching, Iris (who runs a german site called larvaelex) has spawning Tailspots.

The closest thing I know of being reared is the Goldentail Blenny that Proaquatix was doing.
